My hair was very damaged from over-processing, and I've used it twice and my hair is no longer shedding and looks much healthier. In talking to my stylist, she advised that you can damage your hair by doing protein treatments too often and by not following it up with a good moisturizing conditioner. You must also make sure you close your cuticles after a protein treatment by rinsing with cooler water. My hairstylist recommended that I apply this treatment to my hair every 4-6 weeks, however it would be expensive going to the hairstylist so I bought it from Amazon.I was surprised how easy it is to use. Just make sure you follow the directions and don't try to cut corners and your hair will benefit. This product is so good that you will want to use it often, HOWEVER BUYER BEWARE! Do no use DRC more than once a month. Too much of a good thing can be bad. And too much DRC can actually damage your hair, so use in moderation.
