When my beautician rinsed out the treatment, my hair felt a little hard because we didn't use a moisturizing conditioner afterwards but my hair felt so strong and I didn't experience any shedding or breakage when detangling, it was a miracle in a little jar. When the rollers were removed, my hair was so shiny, bouncy and thick. It looks really healthy. My hair remained bouncy and thick for the entire week. I love this product. I recently tried the Aphogee Two Step Protein Treatment and experience shedding when detangling and breakage afterwards. It was too strong. This product works great! I recently had bariatric surgery and after the 4th month I began losing my hair in the front. I tried the silica pills and they seemed to work but only on the hair that was not shedding and it was not helping to grow new hair. About a week after massaging this product into my scalp each night, my hair has began to grow back and it is filling in nicely. I was kinda skeptical at first, but I am now a believer. You have to adjust to the smell of lavendar and vanilla, but I dont mind since my hair is growing back!
