I have hypothyroidism, and as others who have this know, it can make your hair look and feel like straw and thin out. I've done a natural curls journey for a year now (don't straighten/blow out hair, mostly use products that are wholly or mostly based on herbs and natural oils). But I was getting a trim and decided to just let them do the treatment there (though I usually do protein treatments at home, either K-Pak by Joico or Repair me! by Curl junkie or the Spiral Solutions Repairing Protein treatment).

This stuff is great. Expensive (in salon, the one treatment was 45 bucks before tips/tax/etc). My curls tightened up (this is what usually happens when my hair is protein treated, it streghtens my curl pattern, which is great). My frizz was down. My hair was softer and it literally FELT thickened (I have very fine hair).

So, a thumbs up for the two-step treatment on this product. Make sure to use the conditioner after (all protein treatments of high strength... Read more

Just writing to let everyone know how much i love this product!i'm a hairdresser and we carry this at our salon so ive been using it for about 3 months now. i highlight my hair bleach blonde about every 4 weeeks and havn't gotten a haircut in over 2 years ( i know :x ).i do a "vial" (keratriplex treatment) once every 3 or 4 weeks. i wash my hair about 3 times per week and ONLY use the awapuhi shampoo followed by the intensive treatment and leave it on for a few mins in the shower. ive tried the cream rinse and feel it does nothing compared to their shampoo and intensive treatment. this product is very popular and i know we have a hard time keeping these products in stock in our area. yes the price may be a little bit higher then other products but well worth the money. and p.s. if you dont want to buy the awapuhi shampoo at least get something sulfate free it makes all the difference in the world. i know i can get these products way cheaper at cosmoprof (beauty supply) but they make... My hair was dry and it's also fine. I bought the Keratin vials on ebay. I applied one first according to directions. Then added the Awapuhi wild ginger and left it on for about a half hour without any heat. My hair turned out beautifully. It was silky, shiny and felt and looked liked the hair of my youth. I also use the Awapuhi Wild Ginger as a conditioner after shampooing. I leave it on in the shower while I do other things, then rinse. It's veru good, but for stupendous resuls, go to ebay and get the pre-treatment vials. Very worth the effort.
