It is just what the doctor ordered for hot, frizzy summer days!!!!!!!!! You use it in the shower and rinse it off...then if you have thick or curly hair dab a small amount in your palm and rub it into your hair...again small amount to leave on after rinsing, as too much can leave your hair looking oily however just the right amount can leave your hair looking shinny and conditioned. I gave this product a week to work and after the week I just couldnt stand to see anymore of my hair around the house. This product specifically says that its for breakage-prone hair, but Ive never seen so much breakage before from the single use of a product! Every time I so much as touched my hair, little pieces of hair would come out, let alone the mess from brushing. I got it because the ingredients seems like all the oils we should be using, but something in this formula is seriously damaging. My hair felt like it had too much protein in it but this product isnt supposed to be for that so wtf. I washed my hair with shampoo, put some olive oil in my hair, and shampooed again - without even conditioning my hair felt healthy again. Perhaps this can be used for chemically treated hair (I flat iron once a week but never put anything in my hair beyond shampoo, conditioner, and an oil product), but I doubt even that. I haven't permed my hair in like two months and I figured I'd have a lot of splits since I recently went back to relaxing my hair from being natural and while natural I had a lot of ssks (single strand knots) anyway I never cut my ends and with the perm on top never tried cutting them and I had a lot of breakage soooooooo I know that there has to be some sort of balance between moisture and protein while relaxed so I picked this stuff. I left it on for a day (with shower cap) and when I was rinsing it out my hair hasn't felt so soft in a long time. Either way I will continue using this and moisturizing with other things to try. I still treat my hair as if it's natural by cowashing almost daily so we will see if there's any other changes but I haven't experienced anything bad with this product but seeing the rating with the stars I had to chime in and give my opinion. |
